Job description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join our team remotely. This role focuses on providing expert diagnostic imaging services related to cardiovascular and thoracic conditions, ensuring high-quality patient care through accurate interpretation of imaging studies.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive interpretations of cardiothoracic imaging studies, including CT and MRI scans.
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss patient results and recommend further actions when necessary.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and optimize imaging protocols for improved patient outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiothoracic radiology and contribute to the department’s educational efforts.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Radiology, with a subspecialty in Cardiothoracic Radiology preferred.
- Experience in interpreting cardiothoracic imaging studies and knowledge of current radiological practices.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
