The Oncology Case Manager plays a crucial role in streamlining the medication reimbursement process by acting as a liaison among patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. This position is the principal contact for patients, ensuring they have prompt access to oral oncology medications and ongoing assistance during their treatment journey. Applicants should possess at least 5 years of experience in pharmacy and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. A strong understanding of health insurance, the prior authorization process, along with excellent communication abilities, are vital for success in this role.
