Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma to join our medical team in Seattle. This position is pivotal in providing high-quality care to patients suffering from glaucoma and other related ocular conditions, ensuring their vision health is managed effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assessments specifically for glaucoma.
- Diagnose and treat various forms of glaucoma, providing personalized management plans.
- Perform surgical procedures related to glaucoma treatment when necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about glaucoma, treatment options, and prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with residency training in Ophthalmology.
- Board certification in Ophthalmology, with a focus on glaucoma preferred.
- Excellent clinical skills and a deep understanding of glaucoma management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Commitment to continuous learning in the field of ophthalmology and glaucoma treatment.
