**Optometric Technician**
The Optometric Technician plays a crucial role in assisting optometrists by conducting initial patient assessments, carrying out diagnostic tests, and handling appointment bookings. They are also responsible for upholding patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and providing support with both administrative and clinical duties to facilitate smooth patient care. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED and have knowledge of medical terminology relevant to eye care. Experience in patient assessments and record-keeping is essential, alongside a keen eye for detail and competence in Microsoft Office applications.
