Job Summary
The Optometrist will deliver comprehensive optometric care in a primary care environment, ensuring optimal eye health for patients through a variety of services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough clinical examinations to assess patient’s vision and eye health.
- Manage administrative responsibilities to facilitate patient care and office operations.
- Provide recommendations for vision correction and treatment options.
- Educate patients on eye health and preventive care measures.
Qualifications
- The candidate must possess a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution.
- A valid optometry license to practice in Maine is required.
- Completion of all sections of the NBEO board examinations is mandatory.
