Job Summary
Surgical Solutions is looking for an OR & Sterile Processing Technician to join our dedicated team in New York. This full-time role, which requires being on-call 24/7, is essential for providing high-quality support within surgical environments. Your primary focus will be on facilitating efficient perioperative care by managing equipment and ensuring that surgical instruments are prepared and maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up surgical equipment and instruments for various procedures.
- Monitor the functionality of equipment during operations to ensure optimal performance.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to enhance workflow.
- Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of all surgical instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience in surgical services or sterile processing is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with on-call responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential.
- Certification in sterile processing is a plus.
