Job Summary
The OR1RN – Evening Generalist is responsible for providing nursing care in an operating room setting during evening hours. This role involves assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients, and supporting the surgical team with various tasks to facilitate efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with patient preparation prior to surgical procedures.
- Delivering quality nursing care during surgeries.
- Monitoring patients’ vital signs and comfort levels throughout the process.
- Collaborating with surgical team members to maintain an organized and efficient operating room environment.
- Handling instruments and supplies necessary for surgical procedures.
- Participating in post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
- Previous experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible evening shifts.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
