Job Summary
The OR30RN role is dedicated to providing exceptional nursing care within the operating room environment, specifically focusing on Neuro, ENT, and Thoracic surgeries. Nurses in this position will collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high standards of patient safety and care are maintained during operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in operational planning and the implementation of patient care during surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and provide necessary interventions throughout surgeries.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure the operating room is prepared before procedures.
- Educate patients and their families regarding pre-operative and post-operative care.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the applicable state.
- Previous experience in a surgical setting, particularly in Neuro, ENT, or Thoracic specialties.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
