Job Summary
The Package/Material Engineer plays a crucial role in the development and engineering of packaging solutions and materials. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and improve packaging techniques, ensuring that all products meet quality standards while adhering to cost and environmental considerations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative packaging solutions that enhance product presentation and performance.
- Conduct material evaluations and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate packaging designs into new products.
- Analyze packaging processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and sustainability.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of packaging technologies and materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in packaging design and material selection.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in testing methods for packaging materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
