Job Summary
The Painter plays a critical role in the finishing process of custom sign products by preparing surfaces and applying top-notch finishes. This position involves collaborating with fabrication and project management teams to guarantee adherence to production timelines and quality benchmarks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply finishes to sign products while ensuring high-quality standards.
- Coordinate with fabrication and project management teams to align production schedules.
- Monitor and maintain quality control throughout the painting process.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in paint preparation or industrial finishing.
- Physical ability to lift weights of up to 50 pounds.
- Competent in interpreting work orders and specifications.
- Experience with operating material handling equipment.
