Job Summary
The primary function of this role is to manage the loading of parts onto the painting line based on sales orders, color specifications, and any special requirements. This position plays a vital role in maintaining efficient production pace while ensuring the arrangement of parts minimizes water accumulation. The role involves teamwork and communication to achieve optimal results.
Responsibilities
- Load parts onto the paint line according to specified sales orders and relevant criteria.
- Ensure parts are arranged to reduce the risk of water retention.
- Rotate among different positions as required by the operation.
- Maintain effective communication with fellow team members.
- Utilize labels for accurate color identification.
- Engage in ongoing departmental improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is advantageous.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Ability to read technical prints and identify part colors accurately.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Aptitude for following instructions and working in a high-paced setting.
- Commitment to a reliable work schedule including 10-hour shifts for a duration of 4–6 months as necessary.
