Job Summary
The Paramedic Supervisor plays a vital role in providing advanced emergency medical care and overseeing the MTS division’s daily operations throughout their shifts. This position is central to ensuring that all paramedic activities align with established protocols and standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced life support services during emergency situations.
- Manage the operational activities of the MTS division during assigned shifts.
- Conduct staff evaluations to assess performance and ensure high standards of care.
- Develop and implement training programs for paramedic personnel.
- Serve as a liaison with public safety agencies and healthcare organizations to coordinate response efforts.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Paramedic in New York State.
- A minimum of three years of experience in advanced life support (ALS) in the field.
- Possession of relevant FEMA certifications.
- Ability to comply with W.R.E.M.A.C. protocol standards.
