Job Summary
The Paramedic plays a crucial role in supporting nursing professionals and doctors in delivering emergency medical care to patients ranging from infants to the elderly. This position demands meticulous documentation of all patient care provided, ensuring that records within the electronic health system are kept current and accurate.
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff and physicians in administering emergency treatments to patients.
- Document all patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Completion of an accredited Paramedic course is necessary.
- Certifications needed: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Possession of a State of Florida Paramedic License is mandatory.
