Job description
The Medical Director will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with opioid use disorder in an outpatient environment, including the prescription of necessary medications. This role involves working closely with clinic personnel to ensure comprehensive patient care and overseeing nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Candidates should possess an MD or DO degree along with a valid, unencumbered medical license and board certification in a relevant specialty area. Additionally, a DEA Certificate of Registration and the ability to enroll in Medicaid and Medicare are required qualifications.
