The Patient Care Assistant plays a crucial role in providing a mix of clinical and non-clinical support to both adult and pediatric patients under the guidance of licensed nursing staff. This position requires the individual to ensure a secure environment while fostering positive relationships with patients, their families, and the healthcare team. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred for applicants. Additionally, candidates should be capable of handling physical activities, including lifting weights of up to 50 lbs, and must follow infection control and safety regulations diligently.
