Job Summary
This position involves providing essential patient care services under the supervision of nursing professionals. The role includes assisting with various medical procedures, ensuring patient hygiene, and monitoring patient conditions. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining a sterile and safe environment, as well as meticulously documenting patient data while operating clinical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and patient care activities.
- Support patient hygiene and comfort initiatives.
- Monitor patients’ health and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Ensure the clinical environment remains clean and safe for patients.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize clinical equipment as required in patient care tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education is mandatory.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- A minimum of one year of direct patient care experience is essential.
- Completion of a nursing assistant training program, possession of a CNA license, or enrollment in a nursing program with hands-on clinical rotations is needed.
