The Patient Case Specialist is responsible for carrying out crucial admission activities such as conducting financial assessments, verifying insurance, and obtaining pre-certifications for inpatient services. This role entails recording account details, assessing patient responsibilities, and ensuring the accurate gathering of demographic information. Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree or have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment. Proficiency in mathematics, as well as strong communication and interpersonal abilities, are essential for effectively overseeing patient accounts and engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
