Job Summary
This role focuses on providing meal services to patients, which encompasses the selection of menus, assembling trays, delivering meals, and preparing food items. Additionally, the position entails effective communication of patient dietary needs to dietitians and maintaining the cleanliness of the trayline workstations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient meal service, ensuring meal choices align with dietary requirements.
- Compile trays for distribution and oversee the delivery of meals to patients.
- Prepare food items as needed to meet meal service demands.
- Relay patient food requirements or preferences to the dietitian team.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in trayline areas to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is necessary.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar field is preferred.
- Ability to carry out basic mathematical operations and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
