This includes duties such as registering patients, verifying insurance, and collecting payments. You will need to keep precise patient records and engage professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, along with proficient computer skills. Ideally, candidates should have at least one year of experience in customer service, hospital registration, or a medical office environment.
