The Patient Service Specialist plays a key role in overseeing the patient check-in and check-out procedures, which encompass registration, insurance verification, and the collection of payments. This position also entails offering administrative support to the clinical care team and aiding patients with questions related to billing and appointment scheduling. Applicants should possess strong computer skills, a solid foundation in mathematics, and outstanding customer service skills. Although not mandatory, having two years of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting, along with familiarity with medical terminology and insurance billing processes, is considered advantageous.
