Job Summary
The Payor Reimbursement Specialist is tasked with overseeing the daily operations of payor reimbursement, managing communications, and handling escalations. This role acts as a crucial link between the leadership team and the sales department, ensuring smooth interactions and efficient processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily activities related to payor reimbursement.
- Facilitate communication between leadership and sales teams.
- Handle escalations and complex inquiries regarding reimbursement processes.
- Maintain contracts and manage medication access queries.
- Execute letters of agreement for providers that are out-of-network.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience within the healthcare or medical provider sector.
- Experience specifically in pharmacy or medical billing is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in business or life sciences is advantageous, though not mandatory.
