Job Summary
The Personal Care Assistant plays a vital role in aiding clients with their everyday activities. This position involves providing assistance with personal care, including hygiene routines, meal preparation, and help with mobility. Additionally, the role includes tracking clients’ health status, documenting provided services, and offering emotional support to enhance their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene routines.
- Prepare nutritious meals catered to the clients’ needs.
- Support clients with mobility and any necessary physical assistance.
- Monitor and document the clients’ health and wellbeing.
- Provide emotional encouragement and support to bolster client morale.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid is mandatory.
- A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation are essential.
- Previous experience in caregiving is preferred.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
