Job Summary
The PCU/Tele RN position is essential for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit or telemetry setting. This role emphasizes critical thinking and effective communication skills for managing patient assessments, treatments, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs for patients in the PCU/Tele unit.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document clinical findings.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and execute personalized care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding health maintenance and treatment options.
- Respond to emergency situations efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in a progressive care or telemetry unit preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
