Job Summary
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing both acute and chronic health issues in pediatric patients while emphasizing preventive care and overall wellness. This role involves team collaboration to ensure comprehensive patient care and meticulous medical record keeping.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
- Treat patients while promoting wellness and preventive health care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other clinical personnel to coordinate patient treatment plans.
- Maintain precise and comprehensive medical documentation for patient interactions.
Qualifications
- Possession of an active Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) license.
- Strong clinical assessment capabilities and proficient diagnostic skills.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Aptitude for effective collaboration in a multidisciplinary team environment.
