The Perioperative Services Technician plays a crucial role in aiding the surgical team by getting the operating room ready and ensuring that sterile supplies are handled safely. This individual also contributes to patient monitoring, transportation, and the upkeep of equipment, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the perioperative setting. A high school diploma or its equivalent is necessary for this role. While prior experience in a healthcare environment is preferred, it is not mandatory.
