Job Summary
The Property Manager is responsible for the overall management of daily operations within an affordable housing community. This role emphasizes the effective oversight of occupancy rates, financial performance, and maintenance of the properties, while also ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents through proficient communication and service delivery is a key aspect of this position.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the housing community.
- Oversee occupancy management and ensure high occupancy rates.
- Monitor and improve financial performance of the properties.
- Ensure maintenance of the properties is conducted efficiently.
- Guarantee compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Develop and uphold positive relations with residents through effective communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or affordable housing.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- High school diploma required; industry certifications are preferred.
- Knowledge of HUD and LIHTC regulations is advantageous.
