The phlebotomist plays a crucial role in conducting venipuncture and overseeing the pheresis process to facilitate effective plasma collection. Responsibilities include ensuring the upkeep of equipment, accurately recording donor information, and maintaining a safe and sanitized workspace in adherence to SOPs and FDA standards. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification, alongside a minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience. Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment with potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens are essential.
