Job description
**Phlebotomist**
The Phlebotomist is responsible for the collection and processing of blood samples for laboratory analysis within an acute care hospital environment, prioritizing both accuracy and patient safety. Additional responsibilities may involve maintaining equipment and assisting in the coordination of blood donation drives. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have successfully finished a nationally accredited phlebotomy training program. Required certifications include ASCP or NHA, and candidates must also be able to secure Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
