Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant delivers essential physical therapy services to patients within their homes, working under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This role is crucial in supporting patients’ rehabilitation and recovery processes.
Responsibilities
- Administer therapeutic exercises as prescribed by the physical therapist.
- Support patients with gait training to enhance mobility.
- Maintain precise clinical records according to the physician’s treatment plan.
Qualifications
- Must have completed an accredited physical therapy assistant program resulting in an Associate’s degree.
- Must hold valid licensure from the Physical Therapy Board of California.
- Possession of a valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation is essential.
- Current certification in CPR is required.
