Job Summary
This position involves providing in-home physical therapy services under the oversight of a licensed Physical Therapist. The primary focus is on enhancing patients’ mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. The role includes educating both patients and their caregivers on appropriate exercises and safe movement techniques.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-home physical therapy sessions to patients.
- Assist patients in improving their mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
- Instruct patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement practices.
- Document therapy visits and progress in WellSky/Kinnser.
- Communicate any patient progression or concerns to the broader care team.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Possession of an active California Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Reliable transportation and readiness to travel to patients’ residences.
- Preferred experience in home healthcare and knowledge of Kinnser/WellSky software.
