Job Summary
The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (PRN) is responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services in various settings as needed. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide patient-focused care, conducting examinations, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Document patient encounters accurately in medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain clinical competency.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Relevant certifications required for practice.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and able to handle a variable work schedule as a PRN provider.
