Job Summary
The individual in this role will oversee the operations and performance of Legacy’s medical groups, focusing on patient care, physician employment, strategic initiatives, marketing efforts, and achieving financial objectives. The position entails developing innovative services and programs, enhancing collaboration among physicians, elevating quality of care, fostering employee engagement, and optimizing resource utilization while adhering to financial targets.
Responsibilities
- Direct the management of Legacy’s owned medical groups to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Lead physician employment strategies and enhance strategic planning initiatives.
- Develop new services and programs to meet community health needs.
- Foster strong collaboration among physicians to improve healthcare delivery.
- Enhance quality of care and employee engagement within the organization.
- Ensure effective allocation and usage of resources aligned with financial expectations.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare administration or a related field.
- Proven expertise in operational and financial systems and controls.
- Familiarity with managed care markets and administrative systems.
- Strong people management skills and ability to facilitate physician collaboration.
- Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with stakeholders.
