Job Summary
The PRN Pharmacist plays a crucial role in delivering pharmaceutical services on an as-needed basis. This position encompasses providing medication therapy management, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, including the review of medication regimens.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold the standards of pharmacy practice.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement effective medication management strategies.
- Assist in the provision of drug information to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in the quality improvement initiatives of the pharmacy department.
Qualifications
- Pharm.D. degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
- Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy and clinical pharmacy practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
