Job Summary
The Physical Therapy Assistant plays a crucial role in providing physical therapy interventions as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist. This position involves assisting patients in engaging in therapeutic exercise routines and mobility tasks to enhance their rehabilitation process.
Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Support patients during therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
- Track and document patient progress accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to achieve rehabilitation objectives.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Valid state license for practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Open to new graduates; experience in rehabilitation or post-acute care is preferred.
