Job Summary
The Procurement Analyst is responsible for optimizing the purchasing processes within the organization to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. This role involves analyzing procurement data, collaborating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
- Review purchase requisitions to ensure they are complete and align with budget guidelines.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms for the organization.
- Monitor procurement metrics and generate reports for management to inform decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulations to minimize risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
