Job Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for supervising the daily operations of trailer fabrication and assembly, focusing on achieving production objectives while upholding safety and quality standards. This position requires effective leadership of production teams and the integration of lean manufacturing strategies to enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily fabrication and assembly of trailers to meet production goals.
- Lead and mentor production teams to ensure operational excellence.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices to maximize efficiency on the shop floor.
- Monitor and manage performance metrics to optimize production outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of safety and quality throughout the production process.
Qualifications
- Approximately 5 years of leadership experience in metal fabrication or trailer manufacturing.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of lean principles and production scheduling systems.
