The role of the Production Supervisor involves managing daily manufacturing activities to ensure that all products conform to established quality, safety, and efficiency parameters. This position is responsible for leading and training production teams, orchestrating schedules and material needs, and promoting continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:

• Recruit, select, orient, and train staff, while ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.
• Achieve departmental objectives by defining expectations, monitoring team performance, and providing coaching when necessary.
• Strategically plan and assess departmental operations to meet efficiency and productivity benchmarks.
• Collect and analyze business, financial, and operational data to inform strategic planning and evaluate results.
• Stay informed on industry developments through workshops, publications, and networking to enhance professional skills.
• Maintain regular communication with management and other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Prepare necessary documentation for office personnel relating to production and team management.
• Ensure all production lines are adequately supplied based on the production schedule.
• Collaborate with the Quality team to guarantee products meet both company and customer standards.
• Uphold safety, food safety, and quality regulations, ensuring proper documentation when required.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs.

Requirements for the Production Supervisor Position:

• 1-3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, preferably within manufacturing or food production.
• Comprehensive understanding of safety, food safety, and quality assurance standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage production timelines and ensure material availability.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining data integrity.
• Experience in quality control processes and adherence to company quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a production or food manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of production scheduling and inventory control systems.
