Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the daily packing schedules and operations within a 3PL facility, ensuring that both production goals and quality benchmarks are achieved. This role plays a critical part in maintaining high standards of fruit quality and effective adherence to food safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily packing operations and schedules to meet production objectives.
- Conduct inspections of fruit quality to ensure adherence to standards.
- Enforce food safety regulations and best practices within the facility.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on proper packing procedures.
- Implement a hands-on approach to maintain quality control.
- Lead teams effectively within a dynamic and cold production environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supervising production in a produce packing context.
- Strong understanding of food safety programs and protocols.
- Proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with quality control processes.
