Salary: up to $130,000 (based on experience)

Job Overview for Project Manager
The Project Manager is tasked with ensuring the effective planning and execution of construction projects through the coordination of daily activities, leading project discussions, and communicating updates to key stakeholders. This role entails overseeing project timelines, budgets, and cost management to guarantee that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within the designated budget, while also fostering strong relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers. A key responsibility of the Project Manager is to cultivate a culture of safety and accountability on all job sites. Additionally, they manage coordination with subcontractors and suppliers, assist with the contract procurement process, and mentor team members to enhance their professional development and the overall success of the project.
Daily Responsibilities of the Project Manager
- Facilitate and lead project meetings, providing regular progress updates to key stakeholders while building and maintaining strong relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Actively promote and advance the company’s Zero Injury Safety Program, creating an environment of safety accountability across all project teams and worksites.
- Develop and oversee detailed project schedules, set budgets, and execute proactive cost control strategies to ensure timely delivery within financial constraints.
- Establish and nurture productive working relationships with subcontractors and vendors, managing the contract awarding process to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Provide training and development opportunities for assigned staff, including Project Engineers, Co-ops, and Interns.
Qualifications for Project Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Water Infrastructure Construction or closely related heavy/industrial construction.
- Proven experience in leading teams effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred.
- Significant experience in construction related to water infrastructure is preferred.
