$90K-130K Manager of Product Compliance Job Summary
The Manager of Product Compliance supports the Director of Product Compliance in executing the Company’s product compliance strategy. This role oversees day-to-day certification activities, regulatory projects, and internal compliance processes to ensure products meet applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements across all markets. Manager of Product Compliance Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily product compliance activities, including certifications, product listings, and regulatory documentation for new and existing products.
- Lead regulatory and certification projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets are met.
- Coordinate testing, audits, corrective actions, and ongoing listings with third-party certification agencies (NSF, IAPMO, CSA, ASSE).
- Monitor regulatory and standards changes and communicate impacts to leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Complete regulatory sales reporting related to single-use plastics, PFAS, and EPR requirements.
- Provide compliance guidance to Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Review product labeling, technical literature, and marketing materials for regulatory and certification accuracy.
- Update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for formulation changes, new markets, and chemical classifications.
- Support investigations and resolution of compliance issues and corrective actions.
- Maintain organized compliance records and identify opportunities to improve compliance processes.
Manager of Product Compliance Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in product compliance or regulatory affairs.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and certification requirements.
- Experience working with third-party certification bodies and conformity assessment processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with documentation, project tracking, and reporting tools.
Manager of Product Compliance Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or product development environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and corrective action processes.
- Experience with PFAS, single-use plastics, and EPR regulatory reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable guidance.
- 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
