Job Summary
The Product Compliance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet legal and regulatory standards across various markets. This position requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex compliance landscapes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold product integrity and safety.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance strategies to align with local and international standards.
- Collaborate closely with product development and engineering teams to integrate compliance requirements early in the product lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough compliance assessments and audits to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Provide training and guidance on compliance best practices to various stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may affect product compliance.
- Act as the primary point of contact with external regulatory bodies and customers regarding compliance inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Law, Business Administration).
- Proven experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related area.
- Strong understanding of applicable regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, and safety codes).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication abilities to liaise with various teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
