Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician plays a crucial role in supporting patients by assisting with their daily living activities and providing essential care services under the guidance of the nursing team. This position involves maintaining a hygienic and safe environment for patient care while executing specific technical tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with everyday living activities to enhance their comfort and well-being.
- Provide direct support to patients under the direction of nursing personnel.
- Help uphold a clean and secure environment conducive to patient care.
- Perform designated technical procedures as instructed by nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Completion of a Patient Care Technician training program.
- Possession of a valid Patient Care Technician or Nursing Assistant certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Effective communication skills in English.
