**Public Safety Officer**
The Public Safety Officer is responsible for delivering unarmed security support, which includes monitoring the hospital premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring the safety of patients, employees, and property. Key responsibilities also involve managing traffic flow, guiding visitors, and executing physical interventions as needed to uphold safety standards. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED and have a minimum of one year of experience in a customer service-oriented position. Additionally, a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and an Illinois Firearm Owner’s Identification Card must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
