**Job Title: Public Safety Officer**
The Public Safety Officer is responsible for actively monitoring VHC Health facilities to ensure safety and order, safeguard staff, and deter unlawful activities. This role involves responding to emergency situations, offering medical aid, and managing incidents that may involve violence or security risks. Candidates should possess a high school diploma alongside a minimum of one to two years of pertinent experience in security or law enforcement. Additionally, applicants must successfully complete a physical ability assessment and secure several certifications, including Virginia DCJS licensing and First Aid/CPR/AED, within a six-month timeframe.
