The Quality Engineer is responsible for minimizing product and system risks through the application of systematic problem-solving techniques and the upkeep of quality management systems. This role involves acting as a key point of contact for customers and suppliers, while actively promoting continuous improvement initiatives to lower scrap and rework rates. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in a technical field or an associate degree combined with a minimum of two years of pertinent experience. Familiarity with quality standards including ISO, AS9100, or FDA guidelines, as well as technical tools such as SPC, GD&T, and FMEA, is essential.
