Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector will play a vital role in ensuring that products and processes adhere to established quality standards. This position involves inspecting various parts to confirm compliance with the company’s quality assurance protocols. The Quality Inspector will communicate effectively and professionally with team members, serving as a key contributor within the production team.
Quality Inspector Responsibilities:
- Utilize basic gauges and measuring instruments, ensuring proper handling and care of these tools.
- Recognize and understand all significant attributes of current parts, including identifying defective items.
- Interpret basic engineering drawings and adhere to relevant documents required for task execution.
- Accurately input data as needed.
- Identify, read, and follow work instructions, quality documentation, and other job-related materials.
- Employ basic shop math skills while verifying part dimensions and conducting inspections.
- Adhere to safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and perform routine equipment upkeep as required.
- Understand the production process flow and how each stage impacts product functionality.
- Follow guidance from supervisors and trainers, working under co-sign off as necessary.
- Demonstrate the ability to adhere to instructions and retain essential information pertinent to the role.
Quality Inspector Requirements:
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing blueprints and product/process specifications.
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations.
- Experience on the shop floor is preferred.
