Radiation Therapy Assistant

The Radiation Therapy Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the oncology team by overseeing patient movement, preparing treatment areas, and assisting with non-clinical positioning of patients. Additionally, they are responsible for coordinating schedules, maintaining equipment, and facilitating effective communication with patients and their families. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for individuals who have completed health science coursework beyond high school. A valid BLS/CPR certification is necessary, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
