Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist is tasked with executing standard X-ray examinations and assisting with various medical procedures, all while operating under the guidance of a clinician. This role emphasizes the importance of patient interaction and technical proficiency in medical imaging.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine X-ray procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Provide essential medical support under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
- Manage patient registration processes effectively.
- Maintain and ensure the functionality of medical imaging equipment.
- Record and document patient information accurately within electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must hold a state-approved Limited Scope Technician certificate.
- A minimum of six months of experience in both X-ray and medical assistant positions is preferred.
