Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for conducting standard x-ray examinations, ensuring that all equipment is well-maintained, and strictly following safety protocols. This role plays a vital part in the overall functioning of the medical center by providing support in various areas such as patient physicals, drug testing, and maintaining clinical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine x-ray examinations to assist in patient diagnosis.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of radiologic equipment.
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines during all procedures.
- Support medical center operations with patient physicals and drug testing.
- Assist in the management and documentation of clinical information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Active certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Minimum of six months of experience in a medical assistant role.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification necessary.
