Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for conducting standard x-ray procedures and ensuring the functionality of radiologic equipment while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. This position also involves offering medical assistance during physical examinations, drug test procedures, and other clinical activities under the guidance of a healthcare provider.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine x-ray examinations.
- Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of radiologic equipment.
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Assist with physical exams and drug testing.
- Provide support for various clinical procedures under clinician supervision.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Active certification from the ARRT.
- Minimum of six months experience in a medical assistant role.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
