Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist plays a critical role in conducting standard x-ray procedures while offering essential medical assistance under the guidance of a clinician. This position ensures the effective operation of imaging equipment and the accurate preparation of patients for examinations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine x-ray examinations following established protocols.
- Prepare patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
- Maintain and ensure the functionality of radiologic equipment.
- Document clinical procedures and patient information accurately.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Active certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- A minimum of six months of experience as a medical assistant.
- Current certification in CPR/First Aid.
